My thanks to Sylvie for inspiring me to get back into my journey with excercise. Her classes are so tailored to your individual needs that you never need to go away feeling you have been pushed too much or havnt done enough! As a more mature client I feel Sylvie knows my limits but also pushes very gently to encourage you to reach your potential, ultimately giving you the inspiration to keep coming back, feeling better every time you do!!! I have been attending Sylvie’s classes now for over 5 yrs now , I first joined to maintain a balance between flexibility and strength ! Sylvie has not disappointed me and in addition ,encouraged much more ! Her classes include building on, not only having a toned body , but encouraging mindfulness to balance the stress you feel in everyday life to being able to relax and switch off the stress levels and turn on the positive energy ! I am now able to relax completely after classes and getting the best sleep of the week after the evening classes in particular! My mental and physical health has improved and I look forward to every class and recommend her classes to everyone I meet that I think would benefit from Pilates ! Sylvie is professional , fun , committed and just the most inspiring woman I have met to encourage you to be the best you can be ! What more can you ask of anyone !! Thank you for putting so much into your instruction, explaining everything so well every single time, and ensuring it’s done correctly. Hi, I am Sylvia 🙂
From a very young age, I found myself drawn to the world of fitness, exploring various methods and disciplines that kept me active and energized. My journey through fitness has been a constant in my life, guiding me through different stages and teaching me the value of maintaining a healthy body and mind.
In 2010, my passion led me to achieve formal qualifications in fitness, marking the beginning of my career as an instructor. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching and inspiring others, sharing the joy and benefits of staying active. However, it wasn’t long before I recognised the importance of balance and longevity in my fitness journeys.
My own experiences with Pilates and Yoga, initially sought for a stronger core, relaxation, and healing, profoundly impacted me. These practices were transformative, not just physically but also mentally, instilling in me a sense of calm and resilience. Realizing the immense value they added to my life, I felt a strong desire to share these benefits with others. This realization came hand in hand with the understanding that I couldn’t sustain teaching high-intensity exercises indefinitely.
As the years have passed, Pilates and Yoga have not only served me well but have become central to my philosophy on fitness and well-being. They have kept me fit, healthy, and well-balanced, continually proving to be invaluable practices in my personal and professional life.
With a deep desire to share my knowledge and experiences, I am committed to contributing to others’ well-being through my classes and retreats. My goal is not just to teach but to inspire a journey towards a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
I believe in lifelong learning and continuously seek to expand my understanding and skills. Through ongoing courses, research, and experimenting with different methods, I strive to bring fresh perspectives and practices to my classes, enriching the experience for my students.

The options to pay for classes:
£8 per class pay as you go (£10 – Tuesday Yoga)
– £45 for a 6-class-pack: you can attend classes whenever you can fit into your time – no expiry date but booking a for class is essential (£55 – Tuesday Yoga)
– £40 loyalty card scheme: pay for 5 classes upfront and get one free so 6 classes altogether but classes must be used up in an 8-week-period and will have an expiry date in the card. Booking is essential (£50 – Tuesday Yoga)
– £90 for a 12-class-pack: booking for class is essential
(£100 – Tuesday Yoga)
– £30 monthly membership (participant can take any one class per week)
– £50 monthly unlimited membership (participant can attend all classes through the week).
– With memberships an online class will be offered when live classes are not on.
Payment can be made by cash on the venue (preferred method) or by bank transfer.
Classes need to be booked beforehand and there is a cancellation fee in place if you cancel 24 hours before the starting time.
